Princess to marry rich baron

The engagement of Princess Marie zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst and Baron Franz  Mayr von Melnhof was announced today in Vienna, according to a New York Times dispatch.

The Baron is the "very wealthy owner of the Donawise iron foundries in Styria.

Princess Marie's younger sister, Franziska,  is the wife of Archduke Max, brother of Emperor Karl of Austria, and her brother, Prince Alfred, married Miss Catherine Britton of Washington, D.C., in December 1916, while the Prince was "attached to the Austro-Hungarian Embassy" in Washington, D.C.
