January 4, 1922

King George II of the Hellenes, who is in exile, and staying at the royal palace in Bucharest with his wife, Queen Elizabeth,  received the news this morning of the "seizure of the government for a dictatorship by Premier Panglos."

The former king made no official comment, but "coming on the hells of the Prince Carol imbroglio,"  Romanian court officials say that the "banished ruler and his wife are more than pleased to be out of it all."

Queen Elizabeth is the eldest daughter of King Ferdinand and Queen Marie of Romania.
