The Prince of Wales in D.C.

White House
The Prince of Wales has received a warm and positive welcome here in Washington, D.C.

Inquiring minds want to know: so where is the Prince of Wales' staying?  He's bunking with me right now.  I don't ever eat steak ... and he knows how to put his toothpaste on his toothbrush.

The cats love him, especially Buddy.  Sienna miaowed that she loved how proud Charles looked on his son's wedding day.  Ella was fond of the wedding dress.  Edison was interested in what was on the menu.

Seriously,  the Prince of Wales is staying where members of the Royal Family usually stay when they are on official visits.  He's staying at the British Ambassador's residence, the wonderful Edwin Lutyen mansion hidden behind the ugly British Embassy on Massachusetts Avenue, N.W.   (You cannot miss the British Embassy as Winston Churchill is standing outside hailing a cab -- I mean - giving the V for Victory sign.).

The Prince of Wales also met with the President of the United States.

The Queen did stay at Blair House for the recent state visit, but for most of the royal visits, members of the Royal Family are put up at the Ambassador's residence.  Lovely gardens.
