Confident of being restored to the throne, former King George of the Hellenes has made "overtures" to his former wife, Elizabeth, to "return to the throne with him." The couple were divorced a short time ago, reports Reuters, which based its dispatch on "high authority."
In order for this to happen, Elizabeth would have to "agree to an annulment of the divorce and renounce her present Rumanian citizenship."
It is said that Elizabeth is "ready to accept these conditions" only if her brother, King Carol, approves.
