A profile: Jeremy Lascelles
The Hon. Jeremy Lascelles doesn't use his courtesy title in his day-to-day- position as chief executive of Chrysalis, Britain's largest independent music publisher. Jeremy is the third son of the Earl of Harewood and his first wife, Marion Stein. Jeremy was born Robert Jeremy Hugh Lascelles on Valentine's Day in 1955. One of his godparents was the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Jeremy's dad, Lord Harewood, is Queen Elizabeth II's first cousins, which makes Jeremy and the Prince of Wales second cousins. He has three children, Thomas, Ellen and Amy, by his first wife, Julie Baylis, and a 5 year old daughter, Tallulah, by his second wife, Catherine Bell.

"He is reportedly related to George V and may even have a claim to the throne."
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't seem like that would be a particularly difficult "rumor" to verify. The standard of journalism at the Times really has fallen.
All they would have to do is look up a picture of the former Marion, Countess of Harewood. Wow, do mother and son look alike!
