Here is an informative Reuters interview with Crown Prince Alexander. You can click on 6 photos
Marlene these were great interviews you posted. I also saw an interview with Alexander on you tube. He mentioned his mother Alexandra and her "health problems". I never have seen much on her life after Peter's death, I wondered if you knew did she ever overcome the problems that plagued her. Bea
Queen Alexandra's health issues were well chronicled in the media - and not just the tabloid media - during the 1950s and 1960s. She suffered bouts of depression, and, apparently attempted suicide several times. The relationship between Peter and Alexandra was strained and difficult, due to financial and other reasons. Each wrote their memoirs in the 1950s. Alexandra lived for some time in Italy, but eventually moved to England, where she lived. Alexander was raised by his maternal grandmother, Princess Aspasia.
