By wireless to the New York Times.

Queen Marie of Roumania and her daughter, Princess Ileana got up early this morning and "enjoyed a swim in the ship's pool before breakfast was served on their private sun deck."  The Queen and Ileana are traveling aboard the SS Leviathan, which is en route to the United States.

The weather is said to be ideal, and the Queen "later appeared among the passengers on deck with a book, delighting her fellow travelers, who had ample opportunity to see Europe's most beautiful Queen."

Princess Ileana, the Queen's youngest daughter,  spent the afternoon "promenading" with her cousin, Prince Gottfried zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg.     Marie's younger son, Prince Nicholas spent his first day at sea visiting the bridge, where Captain Hartley "showed him the giant liner's steering equipment.  Prince Nicholas is said to be "greatly interested in everything mechanical on the ship."
Marie told reporters that she enjoyed her first night aboard the ship, and she was "very comfortable in the suite" placed at her disposal.   She also expressed "her great pleasure over the American cooking of her meals," which are being served by the ship stewards and not "by her own staff."

Tonight, the Queen and her party will attend a "showing of moving pictures," including one feature called "The Waning Sex."
