Princess Eugenie was mugged in Cambodia, according to a report in the Daily Telegraph. Her personal protection officer was able to deflect that attack.

This was not a direct attack on a royal. This was a purse-snatching directed at a companion of a royal. The robbers probably didn't even know who Eugenie was. She has been said to be travelling just like any other British youth on a gap year. This incident is quite different than her being targeted (e.g., for a kidnapping)because of her royal status.
