The Countess de Lonyay has sent a telegram to the Neues Wiener Journal from Cape Martin, near Mentone, France. The telegram reads: "Stories untrue. Count here. Deny impertinent rumors."
The Countess is the widow of Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria, and the daughter of King Leopold II of the Belgians.
