In a semi-official statement, the Vatican has granted a dispensation for the marriage between Crown Prince Leopold of the Belgians and Princess Astrid of Sweden. The Princess, who is Lutheran, has agreed to raise her children as Roman Catholic, which is the faith of the Crown Prince.
