It was announced today that the Crown Princess of Italy - the former Princess Marie José of Belgium - is expecting a second child. She is expect to give birth next January.
The Crown Prince and Princess have a one child, Princess Maria Pia, who was born in September 1934. Only males can succeed to the throne, however.
