The infant son of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, who is the heir to the Austrian throne, and his morganatic wife, the Princess of Hohenberg, was baptised recently at the Belvedere Palace.
The Palace is the archduke' Viennese residence. The only two members of the imperial family to attend the baptism were Archduke Karl Stefan, who was the infant's sponsor, and Archduke Ferdinand Karl, a younger brother of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
The infant was given the name Maximilian.
