Alexander's will names three to act as Regents

October 9, 1934

The late King Alexander's will includes statements for a regency, if he died before Peter reached his majority. His will names three people, including his cousin, Prince Paul, and two others to act as regents for young King Peter. Prince Paul, 41, who inherited an immense fortune from his mother, is married Princess Olga of Greece and Denmark. Although Paul will act as one of the regents, he and his sons do not themselves have dynastic rights. Succession to the Yugoslav throne is vested in the male descendants of the late King Peter I.
