There was a book at home about the royal family & it included a list of those in succession to the throne. Princess Arthur was listed. At that time I could not understand why a person who had taken her husbands name and status was higher up the list than the husband. It took me quite a while before I found out, this was many many years before the internet and google!JohnFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08256116525836336347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8762674434623075554.post-38977708290951142072021-02-27T05:15:13.582-05:002021-02-27T05:15:13.582-05:00I knew Plaistow hospital in the East End of London...I knew Plaistow hospital in the East End of London.Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16695187534995700314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8762674434623075554.post-78512213259841085762020-08-22T09:32:01.038-04:002020-08-22T09:32:01.038-04:00Admire Princess Arthur of Connaught. I visited those cousins in 1996 in Gibraltar and they still possessed the medal. So it would indeed be nice to read all about her writings . Definetly an interesting story, I do like when you share the stories of lives of royals not usually talked about. BesBeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15948115612593626132noreply@blogger.com
