Duchess Pauline of Württemberg, 29, and Count Constantin of Königsegg,32, were married in a Roman Catholic service at the Klosterkirche St. Quirinus at Tegernsee on October 17, 2026. They were civilly married in July at Constantin's family home, Schloss Halbturn, in Burgenland, Austria.
The reception was held at Schloss Tegernsee, the residence of Pauline's maternal grandparents, Duke Max and Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria.
"When the Duchess entered, time stood still for a moment. There wasn't a dry eye in the house because she was so radiant," one guest told the Bild newspaper.
Her father, Duke Philipp, escorted Pauline into the church. She wore a bespoke gown from Spanish designer Valenzuela and a wheat-ear diamond tiara belonging to the Württemberg family. French jewelry expert Vincent Meylan confirmed the tiara's provenance.
In recent months, Bavarian and Württemberg weddings have been in full swing. In September, Pauline's first cousin, Duchess Dorothée of Württemberg, married Philipp Polack. In July, Count Constantin's younger brother, Géza, married Countess Elena of Arco-Zinneburg in England.
Another of Pauline's first cousins, Countess Marie-Therese of Waldburg zu Zeil and Prince Philipp of Oettingen-Wallerstein, were married in August.
Will Pauline's younger brother, Duke Carl Theodor, be the next member of the family to tie the knot? He has been dating Clara von Mayr-Meinhof for several years. Also eligible is her first cousin, Wilhelm, Duke of Württemberg, who did not attend the wedding, although his mother, Duchess Marie, and his two sisters, Amelie and Dorothée, were present.
Due to poor health, Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, the bride's grandmother, no longer attends family events.
