I think this title is a compromise --but it is a decision that Margareta made and that is how she chooses to be styled.Marlene Eilers Koenighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14984860671065161997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8762674434623075554.post-959074494616667962018-02-25T16:01:28.628-05:002018-02-25T16:01:28.628-05:00Can I ask you something as you are an expert: what...Can I ask you something as you are an expert: what do you think about the decision of the Head of the Romanian Royal Family to be styled Her Majesty Margareta? I always thought that the style or the form of address comes from the title, but Custodian of the Crown is no royal title. To me this decision seems very strange and i recall that when King Carol II of Romania wanted to style his estranged wife: "Her Majesty Helen", she rejected this proposal, saying that a royal style is incomplete without the proper title. For me it would make more sense if she would be Her Majesty the Queen of Romania or Her Majesty Queen Margareta or to stay as HRH The Crown Princess, Custodian of the Crown.
I wish to express my gratitude to you and work you've so wonderfully done so far and to mention that i am a constant reader of you blog.

Best regards,
TudorAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16598925139055759068noreply@blogger.com
