About Me

My Photo
Marlene Eilers Koenig
I am a librarian by profession - and I also write about royalty. I am the author of Queen Victoria's Descendants (Rosvall Royal Books: 1997), and Queen Victoria's Descendants: A Companion Edition (Rosvall Royal Books: 2004). I was the editor of A Romanov Diary (the memoirs of Grand Duchess George of Russia -- nee Princess Marie of Greece and Denmark), which was published by Atlantic International in the early 1990s. I have written for Majesty, Royalty Digest, Royalty Magazine, Atlantis magazine, European History Journal, among others. I've also contributed to numerous royal books, providing research for authors, and contributing chapters for The Grand Duchesses and the forthcoming Grand Dukes, both of which were published by Kensington Books. I have a personal library of more than 1000 books on royalty -- and a superb and extensive clip collection on British and European royalty, encompassing the late 19th Century through present day! I also have a weakness for royal postcards - and have a collection of nearly 7000 cards from the late 19th century to the present. All cataloged. I also have a nice photo collection.
