The Associated Press is reporting that there are "persistent rumors" in Copenhagen that Princess Ingrid, the 17-year-old daughter of Crown Prince Gustav Adolf of Sweden, is about to become engaged to the Prince of Wales, eldest son of King George V and Queen Mary.
Princess Ingrid's late mother, Margaret, was born Princess Margaret of Connaught, and was a first cousin to King George.
