Duchess of Connaught is ill

The Duchess of Connaught, the wife of the Duke of Connaught, uncle of King Edward VII, and former Governor General of Canada,  is ill, according to an official announcement.  She had a bronchial seizure on February 13, and, according to the New York Times,  during her convalescence, she was diagnosed with measles on February 26, "accompanied by considerable bronchial pneumonia."

The Duchess of Connaught is 56 years old.
Her condition is causing anxiety, but the official announcement states that "her strength has been maintained."

Princess Luise Margarete Alexandra Victoria Agnes of Prussia, third daughter of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia.  She married Prince Arthur William Patrick Albert, Duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria in March 13, 1879.

The Duke and Duchess of Connaught have three children,  Princess Margaret, who is married to the Crown Prince of Sweden,  Prince Arthur, and Princess Patricia.
