Maxima and Willem-Alexander spend holiday in Argentina

The Dutch royal family have been spending the Christmas and New Year's holidays at their home in Villa La Angostura in Argentina.

In an interview with a local TV station, the Argentine-born Princess Maxima said: "We're going to pick flowers, and we will hike."   Maxima and her family have spent several holidays during the Argentine summer in Argentina.  Her brother lives in the area.
Prince Willem-Alexander's mother, Queen Beatrix, and Maxima's parents, Jorge and Maria de Carmen Zorreguieta, are also staying at the villa.   The Prince, who speaks fluent Castilian, says he likes visiting Villa La Angostura with his wife and three daughters, Princesses Amalia, Alexia and Ariane.
