The day-old Prince Baudouin of Belgium, son of Crown Prince Leopold and Crown Princess Astrid, received a seventh name today, "only six having been allotted to him after his birth yesterday."
His full name has been changed to Baudouin Albert Charles Leopold Axel Marie Gustave. It seems a surprise to many that the name Leopold was left out of the original list if names. Leopold is the name of the founder of the Belgian dynasty. After his parents learned of the reports, they quickly added the name to their son.
Little Prince Baudouin and his mother "continued satisfactory progress today."
