Helen seeks divorce

Princess Helen filed papers today in Bucharest asking for a divorce against her husband, the "itinerant" Prince Carol, who is now living in Luxembourg. Helen herself signed the papers, which "have been approved by the Regency Council." It is understood that the Council force Helen, who is the mother of the young King Michael, "to take action."
In a normal divorce procedure, former Crown Prince Carol "would have been requested to appear in court," but as he is in exile, "he will not be served with papers."
It is expected that the the divorce will be granted "without the usual long delays, according to the New York Times.
