It's a boy ... and a girl for the Morningtons

The Countess of Mornington has given birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The births took place last week at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, according to Richard Kay's column in Monday's Daily Mail.

The twins have been named Mae Madeleine and Arthur Darcy. The children will be officially styled Lady Mae Wellesley and (presumably) Viscount Wellesley. Lord Mornington is the son of the Marquess and Marchioness Douro. Lord Douro is the heir apparent to the Duke of Wellington. There is now three direct male heirs to the Duke, who will celebrate his 95th birthday in July.
